Born from necessity, not inspiration
Moreton Mae was born from necessity, not inspiration.
When perimenopause arrived - all at once, not gradually - it brought nervous system fatigue, migraines, chemical intolerances, and whole-body inflammation that made my existing skincare impossible to use. Strong fragrances triggered migraines. Heavy creams intensified flushing. And nothing helped the dryness of my skin. Everything I'd trusted became a source of dread.
So, I researched. I stripped everything back. I worked with a cosmetic laboratory to develop a clean, botanical oil my system could tolerate. And once I found the oils that worked, I then created a System - a five-step daily ritual that gave my skin, and my nervous system, something it had been desperately missing.
